Cromwell designed a new 4,600 SF, one story, pre-engineered building to provide the Arkansas Electric Cooperative’s Safety and Loss Control Division with a classroom and training space, break area, restrooms, offices, and storage space.
The project also included a new road that connects the main drive through the AECC campus with Scott Hamilton Drive, along with site work related to the new building, including parking, security fencing, and a gravel turn around. Because of this new connection to Scott Hamilton Drive, the project also required a receiving area and loading dock so the building can function as a control point for deliverie
The Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC) is a generation and transmission cooperative headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas. AECC, founded in 1949 is the wholesale power supplier for 17 electric distribution cooperatives in Arkansas. These member cooperatives serve about 500,000 people in Arkansas and surrounding states by providing them with reliable and affordable electricity to power their homes, businesses and farms.
