"My FitBit represents me because I'm always on a quest to be healthy and active. My husband and I are all about working out together and being active with our dog. I'm also a runner and constantly lookinf for the next race. Plus, the purple represents my favorite color and Kansas State pride, EMAW!"

What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy? What can't you stop talking about?

Animal Rescues! My husband and I have rescued numerous animals over the years, including our dog and two cats. We love supporting local shelters. Adopt, don't shop!

What is your most visited / favorite website?

Google News - there's something to be said for being aware of what's going on around you and abroad. Plus, I like knowing random facts and trivia.

Describe your first day at Cromwell in one word.

Between being invisible or being able to fly, which would you choose and why?

Being invisible. Just think of all the places you could sneak into and the conversations you could overhear. And, I wouldn't have to pay to go to concerts.

What is your favorite quote?

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be an architect until I realized I cared more about how things work than what they look like, hence the reason I'm an architectural engineer.

What was the last thing you wasted your money on?

I just bought these science/math themed Toms. I didn't need them, but they fit so well with my nerdiness that I wouldn't call them a waste.

What is your most unusual possession?

I was gifted engineering textbooks and a slide rule from my husband's great grandfather from when he was in college. He was a Civil Engineer and we joked how the equations are still the same, but the math is easier to calculate these days.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

You're never done growing up so there's always time to change who you are and what you do.
