What excites you about your work?

I really enjoy the challenge of designing structures that meet the increasing demands of architecture: thinner, stronger, lighter, and cheaper.

What can you not stop talking about?

Woodworking, specifically I love building furniture. I enjoy working with my hands, to create things that are beautiful and functional. From tables to desk, cutting boards to candle sticks, I'll make almost anything in my woodshop.

What was the last picture you took with your phone?

A picture of my dog Lucy (black lab) and all the fur she is shedding.

What was your first concert?

Dave Mathews Band.

What is your weirdest quirk?

I eat spinach by the "handles" (the stems).

What is your favorite local place to take visiting friends or relatives?

Whole Hog.

What is your most unusual possession?

A light I fashioned from from a rusty metal gear, old combine blades, and old glass insulators.

What is the best dish you can cook?

Lasagna…It the world's best!

What would the title of your autobiography be?

"It's all about me."
