Rob is a 1990 graduate of Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He holds professional engineering licenses in Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Florida, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified Energy Manager.

Rob started with Cromwell the Monday after he graduated from college. He is now a principal in the firm, serving as the Director of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering since 2005. Other management responsibilities include fire protection design, building commissioning services and LEED services, as it relates to mechanical and electrical engineering. His design experience includes medical, institutional, government and education. Project experience includes facilities across the United States and in Korea, Germany, and Japan.

Rob serves on the Systems Engineering Advisory Board at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the Building and Grounds Committee at his church. He is also a member of ASHRAE and the Arkansas Association of Healthcare Engineers. The rest of his time is spent with his wife, LuAnne, and his two sons and one daughter helping with church, school, or sports activities. 

What excites you about your work?

Watching young engineers/designers grow professionally to manage their own projects and clients.

What can you not stop talking about?

My family. All three of my kids will be off to college in a few years, so time is short.

What is your favorite website?

The Weather Channel. I use it every day to schedule job site visits or a round of golf.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A tennis pro.
