Cromwell assisted with the design of a Master Plan for the Cave City Nursing Center. The Master Plan was prepared in anticipation of building a new facility and remodeling the existing one into an assisted living facility. We also performed an analysis on the existing roof system. After the analysis indicated that the roof would need to be replaced due to deficiencies, Cromwell provided the design, specifications, shop drawings, and oversaw the installation of the new roof.

Our latest project at Cave City Nursing Center is The Green House Project. Cromwell is currently working on the design for four houses in Cave City as part of The Green House Project, an innovative healthcare organization that looks at care for the elderly in a very different light.  The vision of The Green House Project is to “envision homes in every community where elders and others enjoy excellent quality of life and quality of care; where they, their families, and the staff engage in meaningful relationships built on equality, empowerment, and mutual respect.” The name “Green House” not only signifies their goal of sustainable design, but also the growth they want their residents to have in a nurturing and supportive environment.
