Fort Bragg Live Fire Training Facility

The function of the Live Fire Training Facility is to provide realistic urban combat training in support of the unit's Mission Essential Task List (METL) training. The facilities give soldiers a realistic environment by simulating "threat" or "no threat" situations where they have to make rational decisions about target discrimination. Cromwell provided full design services for this training center.

The project includes the design and construction of a permanent live fire training maze to replace a deteriorated existing maze constructed of plywood and sand. The new permanent live fire training maze consists of an AR500 plate steel and a composite rubber block ballistic wall system. The project includes footings for the walls and a concrete slab-on grade.
