Arkansas Prostate Cancer Center

The project is a 6,800 SF facility with linear accelerator for IMRT/IGRT prostate cancer treatment. The building is designed as free-standing but connected addition to existing large urology clinic with separate entry and identity from clinic. Because men undergoing treatment have appointments at the same time each day for a period of approximately two months, the center is designed with the ambiance of a men's club. Facilities include reception and waiting room, change rooms, exam rooms, CT simulation for treatment planning, linear accelerator vault and controls, physicist and dosimetry work areas, radiation oncologist office, and support space.
