This 1.2 Million SF interior design master plan for inpatient hospital + medical mall included recommendations for lighting, finish materials, color palette, floor patterns, artwork, specialty wall design & furniture planning in spaces such as inpatient floors, clinic spaces and all public circulation spaces. The concerns within the facilities group regarded the fact that there was no “master plan” to guide multiple renovations to ensure that the facility was cohesive and easy to navigate. The purpose of the master plan report was to address updates and upgrades of the interior design components in both the Medical Mall and Hospital. Additional recommendations included direction on how interior finish materials and colors flow between the spaces keeping the facility cohesive in material usages, maintenance and aesthetics. All materials represented were selected based on durability, clean-ability, sustainability, and infection control in addition to pleasing aesthetics.
