South Bay Correctional Facility Expansion

This project consists of the design/build of two new close custody housing units including attached classrooms and support spaces to provide for the addition of 543 beds to the South Bay Correctional Facility. The housing units have two man cells with the capability of accommodating a future additional bed for a three man cell. The addition also included a new commissary building, a new armory, a new maintenance building and service yard. The facility is designed provide a secure, cost-effective environment capable of accommodating minimum, medium, and close custody male inmates.
