Guest House Remodel

The original architectural and interior design for this guesthouse was completed
in 1983 by our firm. We were pleased when the current corporate owner contracted
our firm to complete the interior and architectural renovation in 2003. Located
in a secluded, heavily wooded area of the corporate campus, the guests have
the convenience of walking to meetings and workspaces on campus, while maintaining
a great sense of privacy in non-commercial hotel surroundings.
Six guestrooms were renovated to become four comfortable guestrooms and two
luxurious guest suites. Each guest suite included the addition of a wet bar,
lounge area and enlarged bathroom with a fully enclosed steam shower and a whirlpool
tub. One guestroom and bath were re-designed to meet ADA compliance. All rooms
received upgraded lighting as well as new high-end design plumbing fixtures,
custom-designed cabinets with stone vanities, richly stained wood furniture,
neutral paint, decorative wall coverings and carpets, custom-made draperies,
bedding and shower curtains. The design was completed with decorative lamps,
pillows, artwork, accessories and live plants.
