Visiting Quarters
Kirtland Air Force Base, NM
This design-build visiting quarters is a 50,600 SF facility with 96 rooms to
house visiting, short and long-term temporary duty and student personnel. Individual
guest rooms have private bathroom facilities. Administrative offices, meeting
rooms and guest laundry rooms are included. This project was designed by our
team during a very brief design/build proposal preparation period. No definitive
floor plan was provided in the project RFP, only a brief written program and
users' design guide were provided. The facility users and Corp project management
have commented that the design meets all their needs and exceeded their expectations
for this type of project. This project has a LEED "Certified"
Rating.
