William. J. Clinton Presidential Center

The William J. Clinton Presidential Center is located within a new 27-acre
city park along the south bank of the Arkansas River in Little Rock. The Library
includes meeting areas, a large public museum (20,000 SF on two levels), 
and
a large, highly secure archive housing all the papers of the Clinton administration.
This library requires very high security and has highly rigid requirements for
temperature and humidity control. Cromwell designed all the electrical and mechanical
systems, including a 1000kVA generator system that supplies critical systems
as well as the security and HVAC systems for the secure library. With a "Silver"
LEED rating, the building features radiant floor cooling in the exhibit area
and energy efficient lighting. The facility will be the central focus of the
River Market redevelopment area in Little Rock.
