The project is the last in a series of interpretive education centers developed by AGFC across the state. The building is perched on a limited site overlooking the Arkansas River and adjoins Clinton Presidential Center and Park and River Market areas. Located in the center of the state with access to National and International visitors, the Center will present an overview of the natural features and opportunities in the various regions of the state. The building will feature roof-top gardens, dramatic overlooks, outdoor classrooms, exhibit & office space, a theater and gift shop.
Phase II will include access to an on-site revetment impoundment of the Arkansas River for educational, recreational, and demonstration purposes. It will have ADA accessible boardwalks, fishing pier, and a recreated wetland.
