 Public Spaces - (Back to Menu)Redstone Arsenal Bowling Center Design of a 38,500 square-foot, 32 lane bowling facility and fun center with
“Strike Zone” restaurant, sports bar, party and meeting facilities,
arcade and support areas for the Army MWR (Morale, Welfare, Recreation).
The bowling lanes encompass the majority of the facility, totaling approximately
22,000 square feet. This area utilizes bold primary colors to create a
fun, bright atmosphere. The fluorescent accent paint, carpet, and bowling
balls glow when exposed to black light. The Party/Meeting Rooms are designed
for functions from banquets to children’s parties. The “Strike Zone” and
Sports Bar are located together, back to back, for ease of service as they both
share kitchen and storage space. |

of the support areas for the facility include handicap accessible restrooms
at two locations, locker room, administrative offices, kitchen, and repair and
storage areas.
