The new facility for Immanuel Baptist Church occupies a prominent hillside location adjacent to an Interstate highway. Sitting on 24 acres, it provides 200,000 square feet in a traditionally designed building that contains modern technologies for communications, heating and cooling, and audio-visual needs.
To enhance opportunities for fellowship, a spacious double height gathering space presents a large vestibule as entry to the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary has a 65' ceiling height and seats up to 2,500, including choir seating for 250, and an orchestra pit for 35 musicians. Although the sanctuary has a traditional appearance, it contains modern, high-tech sound and lighting systems to accommodate television and theatrical productions.
All other spaces, including classrooms for children and adult ministries, a full service kitchen, and 250 seat chapel, have been designed in close concert with the needs and wishes of the users. The fellowship hall seats 500 and the recreation center includes a full-court Gymnasium and multi-purpose exercise area. Other amenities in the recreation center include children's play area, weight training rooms, and a 1/12 mile running track.
