Sustainable Design
Cromwell believes that building "green" is building smart. Green buildings are based on a holistic, integrated process where all disciplines involved in the design, construction, operations and maintenance of a building work together. All criteria proposed by LEED™ New Construction (NC) is considered to help create and operate an environmentally responsible facility. The green building concepts are coordinated through the Sustainability division to help ensure the design and implementation of the sustainable criteria as directed and requested by our clients. We examine each project using sustainable strategies from the conceptual phase and throughout the design process, with additional considerations given to construction requirements and operational efficiencies. Our goal, through the promotion of green buildings, is to develop environmentally responsible, healthy, and economically feasible projects for our clients.
