The photovoltaic array is designed around an assembly manufactured by tenKsolar. The system is arranged on a ballasted lightweight ground-mounted frame which covers a site of approximately 3.6 acres. The low voltage array consists of 1,320 solar panels with a 500 kilowatt capacity. Power is fed from the cells through inverters and then collected at a metering cabinet which ties to a transformer provided by the local utility company. The site is capable of producing more than 1,000,000 kilowatt hours annually.
