A roof replacement performed 8 years ago has entirely failed. In looking at the existing conditions, the low slope roof had insufficient roof drains, slope and insulation to meet current codes. Instead of reinstalling a modified bitumen roof, ASP decided to install a pitched roof. The current design involves installing light gauge metal trusses and metal roof using the existing bearing walls and trusses for support. Some modifications will be made to incorporate an entrance canopy. Gutter and downspouts to splash blocks will complete removal of water from the building.
