The Beale Commissary project is a sustainment project that includes primarily mechanical, refrigeration, and electrical upgrades with some minor architectural work. The 70,413 SF existing commissary was constructed in 1992 and was designed by Cromwell. It was designed with a side warehouse and a mechanical mezzanine. The building is constructed of decorative CMU exterior walls supporting a steel roof structure and has a striking steel tube entrance façade that welcomes patrons to the store.
