The renovation of the Kilborne Building began as some interior improvements to enable an MP Company to move in along with some exterior repairs. The other tenant of the building was the Fort Jackson NEC servers and some offices.
During the site visit, the Charleston PM and the Cromwell team discovered that the server room equipment was not functioning properly to maintain the equipment and needed emergency repairs. As a result, the scope of work for the facility was prioritized to include the emergency repairs plus the original scope of work for the MP Company. The intent was to ensure that all available funds end of year funds would be spent and would cover all possible work required in the facility.
