This major renovation and expansion project consisted of three primary components. The largest part of this project is a 16,000 square foot addition to their corporate offices. The existing offices and the office addition abut the large building which houses their Little Rock steel fabrication shops. The addition is to match the look and construction of the existing offices which is one story, tilt-up concrete and a low-slope roof.

Because of the loss of parking spaces to the office expansion and to satisfy city regulations, Lexicon must add parking spaces. To accomplish this the existing parking lot is to be expanded to the west. The new paving is to match the existing paving which is concrete. The new parking area will require new drainage structures, landscaping and relocation of three light poles.

The smallest part of the project is a 6,750 square foot addition which will consist of a tool room, locker rooms and a break room. This addition will be separate from the office addition and will be attached to the steel fabrication shop. The break room addition also supplants a portion of the existing parking lot.
